APR Plus gives you up-to 234 hp and 273 lb-ftof torque. That’s more than the 2.0T!
The 1.8T is rated at 170-180 HP and 199-200 lb-ft of torque, but with APR Plus you'll get more. We've bumped output to 234 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque, which gives higher output than the sportier 2.0T found in the Golf GTI and A3 2.0 TFSI Quattro!

The APR Plus ECU Upgrade is the first step towards making more power, and it includes our limited powertrain warranty. This simple upgrade requies no engine hardware modifications, and produces 234 HP with 273 FT-LBS of torque. Gains as high as 65 HP and 78 FT-LBS of torque are available throughout the power band, making the vehicle exceptionally quicker in all scenarios.
The APR Plus ECU Upgrade matches the performance of our Stage 1 ECU Upgrade (87 octane version). To get even more power, you can add any of our other Stage 1 compatible products and still be covered under the APR Plus warranty! This only excludes our downpipe and turbo/fueling upgrades.
