So after having a red 996 for a number of years, it was time for a change. The plan was to change the color on this 996 to black. However, we didnt want to just go with black, we wanted something special so we chose a metallic black and added a cherry apple red clearcoat with metal flake! During the color-change, we wanted to add some extra aesthetics and a speedART front and rear bumper conversion did just that. The mesh grills were finished with an alumi-look to match the interior and heavily contrast the dark paint.

Prior to applying the paint, the car's exterior was fully sanded and all the dent were removed.

After having the 996 on the road for a while it was time to step things up a bit more. No matter what the upgrade saftey will always be at the top of the list, so step one was adding in an RSS Rollbar. This not only adds rollover protection incase things go really bad but also adds the ability to add proper track/racing harnesses for that added bit of saftey.

With the RSS bar the addition of 997.1 GT3 RS seats allow the proper use of shoulder harnesses with 5 or 6 point track belts. Not only will it add that saftey but also keep both driver and passenger firmly in place with the extra bolstering and side support.
