This 2007 Mercedes SL55 is loaded with aftermarket accessories. First we installed a Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential this is different than most other differentials. Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is much smoother in operation. After installing the ATB Helical LSD differential, we added a stage 2 Kleeman supercharger upgrade. The Stage K2 consists of Kleeman stainless steel tubular exhaust headers and down pipes that provide larger primary pipe diameters for each engine cylinder. The Kleeman headers can be modified to the stock exhaust system or used in conjunction with the Kleeman 120 cell metal catalysts for maximum performance gain. Last but not least, the ECU gets further revisions for maximum power output. We then reduced the lag of throttle response by adding a Sprintbooster. Then we focused on the outside of the car, we added Silver Vertini Magic Wheels that are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport's. These are great performance tires and are ready for anything whether they are being used on the street for daily driving or racing on the track. Once the car was all put together we alligned the car with our state of the art alignment machine from Hunter Engineering, and then added Motul 75W90 Transmission/Differential Gear Oil which is 100% Synthetic Esther so that all our hard work wouldnt become a waste.

The Kleemann Headers were a great upgrade for the SL and the headers are a direct bolt on, however the downpipes that connect into the stock exhaust sometimes require modification. As the pictures show this was one of those times, but not to worry because all it takes is a little custom fabrication.
