If you have an ECU that has locked up and gets replaced, we can have the programming transferred over to the new ECU. On models that are 2006 and newer, the VIN# is recognized and the programming simply has to be reloaded. This is a simple reflash done in house and only the service labor applies.

For vehicles prior to 2006, a formal ECU warranty transfer request needs to be submitted through APR. The old ECU will need to be shipped back to APR so that they can remove the original APR file. We will ship the ECU back to APR or we can email a copy of a form that must accompany the ECU when it is shipped back to APR. Once the ECU arrives at APR and has been blanked out, APR will set-up a promo code for us to use when we flash the new ECU.

If the dealership replaces the ECU for you, we must have an invoice from the dealership that the ECU was replaced.
