Impressively realistic V8 sound - How it works
:
The CARGRAPHIC Active Sound control unit is connected to the CAN bus of the respective vehicle. It continuously monitors the current load status of the engine and, based on this, creates a suitable V8 sound, which is reproduced via the connected CARGRAPHIC Active Sound actuator.

The CARGRAPHIC Active Sound System is controlled and adjusted via the free mobile app. This can be used to set various V8 sound files, so that the vehicle sounds high frequency as a sports engine or low and growling, depending on your mood.

The various sound variants can be fine-tuned to suit your own taste and called up via the vehicle driving profiles, such as AUDI Drive SelectBMW Driving Experience Switch or Mercedes Agility Control - alternatively, the button for automatic start/stop or the ESP button for changing the sounds can also be used.

The CARGRAPHIC Active Sound System simulates a deceptively real V8 engine sound thanks to the dynamic volume, which increases the sound volume according to the engine speed, as well as the randomly generated backfires.

Cargraphic makes performance look great

"Quality needs to get under your skin"  – that's the creed Thomas and Michael Schnarr live by. In 1985, as show tuning was celebrating its biggest excesses elsewhere in Germany, in Landau, the foundations for Cargraphic were being laid – a car tuning company that fittingly describes its concept with the name "The performance company". Today, Cargraphic is dedicated to a wide range of car brands, models and classes from compact cars to SUVs. However, they earned their first spurs with a true icon, the Porsche 911. Stainless steel exhaust systems, alloy wheels, performance upgrades and chassis expertise have transformed the company's first germs into a permanently growing programme with a high level of manufacturing penetration. Sophisticated high-quality bodywork parts as well as numerous accessories complete the portfolio. As the touchstone for the products motor racing has been chosen. This is why equipping private motor sport teams with components belonged to our concept from the very start. Additionally, Cargraphic has successfully entered lots of competitions with their own vehicles. This has, among other things, resulted in several titles and runner-up positions that the company has won over many years at the legendary Tuner Grand Prix in Hockenheim.

Because Cargraphic does a lot of work in-house as well as having competent development partners, this provides the best way to control quality and guarantee responsibility for development. The car tuner closely cooperates with a rim factory, which produces its 1- and 3-piece alloy wheels exclusively in Germany. However, Cargraphic also wants to set the benchmark for stainless steel exhaust systems. Thus, contracting work out was never a real option. Instead of this, Cargraphic has been running a production plant in South West England for many years. It works hand in hand with the German design and development team, using only the best materials. This also applies to springs and dampers – since its foundation, the company has worked together with one of the most renowned industry providers and is proud to hold the official title of a BILSTEIN Suspension Expert. This long-term cooperation has enabled Cargraphic, among other things, to develop the pneumatic Airlift Suspension level control, which was tested in 2009 by Walter Röhrl himself on the Hockenheim circuit. The latest addition to the company's arsenal is a comprehensive range of well-engineered performance software that was developed with an experienced partner. Cargraphic can also deliver a wide range of optional characteristic optical details for increased brand recognition. This also ensures that the power packs from Landau don't just gain recognition through their lap times on the racing circuit or when accelerating at a traffic light switching to green.
