DEVELOPMENT:  For those looking for the lightest and the loudest exhaust for your R8 – behold the SOUL Race Exhaust System! This is the perfect exhaust system for SEMA builds, kitted cars, and the weekend cruiser alike. The factory exhaust is incredibly heavy at over 68 lbs with several chambers. It simply does not offer the roar that most are looking for in under-aggressive acceleration. To achieve our goals of maximum power, lightness, and sound, we use 3″ diameter tubing and individual piping for each bank of the engine to drop over 50 lbs from the vehicle and enhance the V10 roar. Factory heat shielding is retained.

SOUND:  Imagine the Audi R8’s loudest note-amplified twofold. This exhaust is loud, mean, and encourages crackles and burbles that will be heard a mile away on downshift! Make no mistake – this R8 exhaust system is as aggressive as you can get! If you’re interested in having the option to quiet the exhaust down, consider our Valved Exhaust System.

CONSTRUCTION:  Each system is made from mandrel bent .060″ wall T304L stainless steel tubing, CNC machined flanges, and laser cut brackets. Back purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration and longevity. Water jet cut flanges are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for extreme precision. We fabricate each exhaust using thick gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a great heat sink during the welding process and prevent warping not only of our products, but the fixtures themselves to ensure perfect fitment.

BOLT ON AND GO:  Each exhaust system is built and tested in a fixture to ensure perfect fitment. Everything is included for a complete installation including caps for the factory vacuum lines.

FACILITY Soul Performance Products is located in a 15,000 sq ft facility north of Philadelphia in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. We make great use of this space to keep our products in stock, ready to ship. Our mission is to quickly get you the parts you need with no delays. Our R&D area is equipped with two BendPak lifts and all tools necessary to allow us to design, engineer, test, prototype, and fixture components. Our shipping area is set up to ensure that all components get a thorough inspection, orders ship complete with all hardware, and that products are well packed.

MANUFACTURING Soul Performance Products is partnered with ISO 9001 Certified aerospace manufacturers, enabling us to work with technology and industrial scale, extreme precision equipment down to +/- 0.002 inches that would otherwise be out of the limits of an exhaust manufacturer. Our capabilities include waterjet and laser cutting, tube bending, CNC machining, robotic welding and much more.
