Installation
These grilles are a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory BMW kidney grille inserts on the G87 M2. Installation requires removal of the front bumper to access the grille mounting clips from behind — this is standard procedure for kidney grille replacement on this chassis. On cars equipped with Active Cruise Control, the ACC radar sensor located behind the grille must be disconnected before the bumper is pulled. With the front bumper removed, the OEM grille inserts unclip from the surround and the carbon pieces press into place using the same factory mounting clips.
